A note on UK law before you buy. Grey squirrels are classed as an invasive non native species, and it is illegal to release a trapped grey squirrel back into the wild. They must be humanely dispatched on site. Red squirrels are a protected species and must not be intentionally trapped, so if a red squirrel is caught by accident it must be released unharmed straight away. Knowing the difference and being prepared to follow the rules is part of using a trap like this responsibly.
