Designed so you keep the original trap and just top up the bait, rather than throwing the whole unit away and buying a new one every few weeks. Most homemade and supermarket wasp traps use sugar, jam, or beer as bait, which is just as appealing to honey bees and bumblebees as it is to wasps. This refill uses a specially developed attractant that draws wasps and other unwelcome flying insects (hoverflies, blowflies) in while leaving bees alone, so you can deal with the wasp problem on your patio without harming the pollinators you actually want in the garden.
