A single integrated speaker gives it a coverage area of up to 2,500 square feet, which is the right size for most flats, terraces, semi detached homes, and bungalows from a single plug socket. The slimline, modern design sits flush against the wall and looks more like a smart plug or air freshener than a pest control device, so it's not an eyesore in your hallway or living room. An LED light on the front shows you which setting is currently active.

This is best thought of as a long term deterrent and prevention aid, not an emergency treatment. The idea is that you plug it in, leave it running, and over time pests find your home less welcoming and steer clear. A note on pets and small animals. The ultrasonic frequencies are inaudible to humans, dogs, and cats, so it's safe to use around the family pets most people have. However, the same frequencies can be heard and may cause distress to small caged pet rodents (hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, pet mice and rats), and to pet rabbits. If you keep any of these, this isn't the right product for you.

A note on what to use it for. This is a preventative and deterrent product.
