Citronella Coils

Warm evening, drink in hand, and then the whine starts near your ear. Mosquitoes and midges have a way of ending a good evening outdoors early.

Citronella coils are the traditional answer. Light the coil, and as it slowly burns it releases citronella scented smoke that makes the air around your seating area far less inviting to mosquitoes and other biting insects.

An honest note: citronella reduces bites, it doesn't eliminate them. Coils work best as part of a setup, alongside a mosquito trap and covering up at dusk. For a few quid they earn their place on the patio table.
